Meet the Founder

The story begins in 2011, when founder, Veronica Karlsson-Doresamy was deeply touched by an article she read called ‘Fashion’s threadbare conscience’ about factory conditions where many of our high street clothes are made.

She says: “I read the piece and there was a snowball effect. As I was doing more research into it, the disastrous factory collapse in Bangladesh occurred. The more I read, the more I thought ‘this is not right’. Do you know there are more slaves in the world today than 150 years ago?”

Veronica was a product manager in the luxury design fashion market and now uses her skills, experience and passion, to empower women and give them hope and a future.

“There has to be an alternative to fashion, produced at the cost of human suffering and Tabitha Living is one alternative. We want you to fill your homes with beautiful products that bring freedom to the women who make them.”
