Up-cycled from fabric from fabric look books from past seasons collections, the STARLA range of makeup bags have been embellished with Kantha or running stitch. One of the oldest forms of embroidery that originated in India, it means ‘rags’ in Sanskrit. Women in Bengal typically use old saris and cloth and layer them with Kantha, to make a light blanket, throw or bedspread.
It is fully lined with the Tabitha print 100% organic cotton fabric. Interlined with 100% cotton wadding. Outer fabric, 100% cotton up-cycled fabric. Gold brass YKK zip.
